Have we talked about this one yet?

He's driving me crazy. We have amazing chemistry- amazing passion coupled with incredible amounts of hurt and pain.

This is a bad, bad, realtionship and I can't seem to break away. Usually I can find a way out, but I find myself being drawn back in. He is drama and I am passion - we're like fireworks, never ending fireworks.

I know this one well. I had a very passionate 9 year on again off again relationship with an Aquarius. My advice is run now. Run fast and run far. Just make a clean break. Stop answsering his calls, emails, whatever.

They have the best intentions, that they can never follow through with because they are too busy dreaming of other things, places and people. Even though the sex is usually amazing, they are really good at playing with your emotions, even if they don't mean to. They are dramatic and attract drama in amazing ways, often of their creation because of bad choices they made and then refuse to take responsiblity for. When you are together they make you feel so good about yourself but when you aren't their flightiness comes into play and you are leftt wondering.

Now, I am not saying that this applies to all Aquarians, just most of the ones that I have met.

And PS. they're REALLY bad with money!! They're super FLIGHTY when it comes to $$$ (figures, they're an air sign). As in, they forget that they borrowed money from you, they forget to return money they owe you, you may have to be the one to supply money for dinner or other date expenses, etc. This is ok for me once and a while. Now, I don't mind paying for our movie tickets; but not ALL THE DAMN TIME. I want to be his romantic partner, not his bookkeeper! At least this was my experience, and of course there are exceptions. Them water-bearers are very fun and (com)passionate and refreshing, but stay away from any/all money-related issues!!!

Virgo and Aquarius are the only signs that are humans. The sex was friggin great, but everything else fell apart. Great for friends and messing around with!

sheesh. i just married one. lol...

he can't borrow money from me though, i ain't got none.

and- we discussed these traits before we did the deed. i'll kick his ass if i have to (he'll prolly like it though), both virgo and aquarius. the aquarian conspiracy is taking on a whole new meaning!

the =four agreements= are our vows.

I guess I gotta stick up for aquarius since nobody else is ;-)

Im Virgo with Aquarius rising......that being said the primary person I'm dating is Aquarius, Virgo rising. We get along fabulous. If she wasn't married (she's poly, i'm behaving) I could see we would get along just as well in a more serious relationship.

I had a long term relationship with an Aquarian - started off real good, then it went down the drain. Kept getting drawn in but the situation continued to repeat itself. I've learned my lesson and see the signs super quick with all Aquarian girls. I can't deal with drama - but they seem to love it - and tons of it! ....must stay away!

Aquarian girl here...... with VIRGO rising ;)

So I think that all the aquarius issues I see here have to be traced back to other aspects of their charts..... cause drama? I just have no idea what you are talking about...... seriously ~ aquarians are so detached and I think one of the best aqua qualities is the ability to put oneself in anothers shoes and to truely want to understand all sides of any issue.....

I hate drama..... and do anything I can to avoid it.

but I would love to hear more about these drama situations that repeat, and what signs do you see? please indulge me :) thanks

i have aquarius as my rising and feel it is one of the few things that can help me deal with my virgo madness sadness and obsessiveness

we all are like little experments with gravity and space reflected back for the grater good of any one who can learn from it .

        I shall indulge :)

He flits from one woman to the next, even when he professes to be in love. 'The grass is always greener' syndrome times 10.

He is also afraid to let go. He'll continue to try and hold on even when it's time to let go (be it job, relationship, etc)

Not good with money or time management...

He really isn't able to put himself in other's shoes, at least not until after they're already in pain. He doesn't understand the consequences of most of his actions, he sees things as very simplistic until presented with the complexities of the issue. He has an overwhelming desire to apease everyone, which means he's always stretching himself too thin.... I could go on.

He does have incredibly capacity for love and affection and is generally a really good guy - but it's hard to be his S.O., especially for an earth sign... he flits about too much

lol so that is one of the best negative descriptions for aquarius! seriously........ it left me wandering in the lonely world of aquarian for a while.... you know many of us believe we are meant to walk alone, never to be understood....except maybe by other aquarians.... lol but I can see the positive in most everything you've stated ~ "a bright and shiny idealism" as stated in something about air signs in general

          >>He flits from one woman to the next, even when he professes to be in love. 'The grass is always greener' syndrome times 10.<<

Aquarians are likely to be poly in life, and I've read similar for virgo as well. I believe it is not that the grass is greener but that monogamy is "too heavy a price to pay. Their is so much to be experienced so many different people, so many perspectives to be gained and so little time. I love making connections growing through them and knowing that tomorrow may bring yet another person in my life.. yet another aspect that adds to my Organized chaos."

I believe it is very possible to become interested in others and still really love someone or even more then one "someone"

one of my favorite quotes: " Love is like knowledge, giving it away does not diminish what you know"

the letting go thing, well I'll give you that. but I've been lookin for the exact statement and can't find it..... but it was something to the effect of the fact that the aquarius will try perhaps too long to make something work because of our idealism..... but when we decide to not expend anymore energy then we will walk away and not look back. I guess sometimes we just might take longer then most... i'm sure that that is sometimes good and sometimes bad

yeah..... money and time management....... sometimes other aspects of the chart come out and help but for the most part we are screwed, lol...... But it is just how we are ;) and if you are along for the ride, sometimes it can be rather fun!

I could go on<<

So I truely believe that most things are simplistic...... or they can be. maybe THAT is just the difference.
and from an aquarian description: "they'll genuinely strive to understand your point of view because they believe so passionately in fairness." aquarians love honesty and equality! but maybe to others our approach is too simplistic..... eh

I definitely stretch myself to thin sometimes..... ok all the time..... but never to bring harm to myself or others.... Aquarians love to help others and humanity. can be annoying to significant others i'm sure..... from an aqua description: "don't expect her/him (aquarius) to make you her/his only cause". We are just always thinking bout the world at large.

lol I'm sure we can go back and forth forever with the pro and cons....... I know this cause I do it in my head all the time..... aquarius sun / virgo rising ;)

Do you have any aquarius or other air signs prominent in your chart? What is your rising sign? and the rising of your aqua man? just curious

          thanks for the brain food!

I'm a virgo with scorpio rising and a pisces moon - I've got a fair amount of libra and scorpio in my charts as welll...
          • Hey Frankie,

I was going to mention the poly thing, but you beat me to it. I've never been anything but polyamorous with my Aquarius lovers even before I knew about the term polyamory. Aquariuses are just plain interested in people and will bring home the craziest wierdest people you have ever met if they aren't the craziest wierdest person you've met themselves. They have a strong need to explore and will laugh at any possessive earth sign that wants to own them and their time.

Despite all that, my experience with my Aquarius lovers as well as siblings is that they are fiercely loyal and rather idealist romantics that need to know their loved ones will still be there for them when they come back from their flirting, socializing, inspired conversations, intense idea exploration, their latest invention, their generally crazy seeming theories or hobbies, deep thought and/or whatever else has grabbed their attention and focus.
            • Hi Frankie,

My last two relationships were with Aquarius men. Seriously, they drove me nuts but I'm attracted to that type. Yes, they look at over woman while being somewhat possessive and protective of you. They have no sense of time and, as you said, have zero ability to put themselves in other peoples' shoes. And arguing with them is a true pain in the %#$.

On the other hand, Wendy is SO right. They are loyal and have the ability to be there for you when you need them (if they want to). And when they love you, regardless of a wondering eye, they really do love you. I stayed with one for 2 yrs and the other for 3 yrs. While they drove me crazy, they were able to get me out of my anal side and make me laugh. Man, did I ever laugh! These guys could be so fun! BTW, a great way to make piece is to plan a romantic evening. Picnics etc, something romantic and out of the norm. Give it a shot if you feel something for him. Hell, any relationship is hard. Ps. and the sex really is great! Damn... good memories.

BTW, all of this advice is very general since none of us have his extended chart info (ie. asc and moon). They play a big role.
              • Yeah, extended chart info would be helpful.

In general a rising or moon in air is going to make your Aquarius way worse about being conscientious about time, but great with conversation, if you can even understand what they're talking about - or get them off their computer long enough to have a conversation.

A moon or rising in a water sign is going to make them much moodier, in need of a stable nurturing environment and partner, more prone to bringing home those crazy people they meet and setting them up on the couch before asking you to feed them, and a little more in their head and private, though much better about being on time and managing money.

An earthy moon or rising seems to make them more focused on creating tangible results. I've heard it said that many genius and inventors are Aquariuses with major planets in Capricorn, but I can't remember who and I got distracted when I searched the internet just now. An earthy rising or moon also seems to make them more conservative lifestyle-wise. They may latch on to the structure of universities, organized religion, cults, or other large associations of people while still being distinct individuals and avante garde in their ideas within the structure they choose.

Fire! Feel free to prove me wrong, but my bet is that all of you who say you've had great sex with an Aquarius (or two or three) were dealing with an Aquarius with a fire rising or moon. Or to get off the moon/rising thing entirely, a fire sign Mars. Depending on what fire sign their ascendant or moon is in, these aren't the best people to take to social functions if you get embarrassed easily or will be around people who offend easily, as they're not likely to filter between their thoughts and what they say. These Aquariuses are also very likely to be psychic or believe in things occult and treat such as if it were a normal part of everyday life.

I'm a Virgo with Aquarius rising. Gemini moon. I <3 those Aquarians out there, but I've also found that they make the best friends for me. I've only dated a few, and they were okay, but I just prefer them as my best buds than lovers.

as a hetero female virgo sun i tend to have chemistry with attractive aquarian men and strained relationships with aquarian women.
sort of strange how we can have different interactions with a particular sign depending on male/female

similarly...i have several very tight female pisces friends and have never had much chemistry with the piscean men
