Aperfect match?

topic posted Tue, August 12, 2008 - 12:15 AM by  Mandy
I have just met someone on the internet, and whilst i was cautious about this, it felt as if we had always known eachother. It felt 'right' from the very start, and when I descovered he was a taurus, of course I looked it up! It seems we are perfectly matched in every way ...bringing each other's good points out , and bouncing ideas off of one another. Is this too good to be true? I have never met anyone who I can totally relate to and feel equal with, until now!

Well Taurus is a fellow earth sign, along with Capricorns. There's a certain bond that I've found with both of those signs.

Personally, Taurus have been some of my very very best friends. I get along with them on a really deep level of understanding but never had a physical relationship with one. I have a major weakness for Capricorn men too, but they've never seemed to work out romantically either.

    Good luck!

I don't believe a 'perfect match' is such a good thing or even possible.Seems like to me it would get boring really fast.In my last relationship that was the case,we clicked on so many levels yet ironically brought out the worst in each other and could'nt stand being near each other after a year.I recall that we had sun sextile sun,sun conjunct asc,venus-mars-pluto conjunct asc,venus-mars conjunct venus mars, moon trine moon.So on and so forth.Yet what stood out was what I loathed about him...too much of a mirror image. That and his moon squared my sun by sign and my moon squared his sun by sign and aspect.I wonder at times if that was a bigger influence undermining everything suppossedly good about our charts.

In my experience something vital seems to get lost without the awkwardness of meeting people alive and in person.

What is a 'perfect match'? What does it look like to you? How does it feel to you? And question is does this other person feel similarly and would they actually be available to explore a matchup with you?

Just a few questions that came to me while sitting here.

Oh definitely....Meeting a perfect match online can go horribly awry in person. It doesn't necessarily mean they aren't who they say, but chemistry is HUGE.
I'm in an LDR (Long Distance Relationship) right now. We originally met in person but it was a friend of a friend sort of deal that was brief. After talking online for months we "re-met" in person and now...well now it's really really great. I feel really lucky though. A friend of mine continues to meet "amazing and compatible" men online, but in person they are just not it...And you know within minutes sometimes.

Before you become too attached mentally, meet them, meet them, meet them if you can. A perfect match, or not...it's my number one suggestion.

No , no!! I have met him! we get on as if we have been together for years! Naturally this is alarming, since I have had terrible experiences with men, and have not been in a relationship for about seven years!! Even more reason for confusion as Inever thought I would ever want this....Everything is cool...except for the distance!

I get along great with women tauruses and only as friends with male tauruses. I would never describe them as my perfect match. There have always been strong connections between other planets in both our charts to make that match great or not. My sun sign alone is no indication of any match being perfect.

Check out and compare your other planets, too: moon (your emotional connection), mars (your sexual attraction), venus (how pleasing you are to each other/how well you resonate with each other's values), mercury (how well you are able to connect mentally and communicate).

My perfect match seems to be Libra, which you will never read in a sun sign astrology book. Linda Goodman would curse us from the start. Bu with his Cancer moon opposite (and complimenting) my Capricorn moon, a good dose of air with my Gemini rising and Mars to go with his airy Libra sun, both of us with Mercury in Libra for some balanced and fair communication, his Leo rising sparking my Venus in Leo, and my moon in the 8th house to pique the interests of his Venus and Mars in Scorpio, we have a LOT more indicating a good match than one would guess based on a Virgo-Libra match.

Oh good! That's a big plus!!!

Yeah, the LDR thing is tough. Me and mine..2000 miles apart. We are able to see each other at least once every 6 weeks or so though. We budget time and money to do so because it's important to us. We've just passed the year mark, with plans for one of us to move.

Well, gee whiz willikers, be grateful, blessed, and enjoy the wonder of it all then.

Distance can be worked with, right?

Its about year 2 + for me, on the relationship free diet. Needed a break, I imagine.
