I just kept wondering...why is it that when we speak about evolution on the individual plane, we use the Aries-Pisces stages of development to show where we're at, while when it comes to human society, we use the astrological ages, which go backwards...?

Is there some message in that?

And what the heck happened the last time we hit the age of Aquarius?...about 26000 years ago.wow. that's like 24000 BC.

"25,000 BC Sulatrean (Cro-Magnon) peoples on the Eastern Atlantic seaboard sail round the Atlantic both ways in walrus skinned, wooden framed boats, delivering advanced flint working skills to peoples on the Western Atlantic.
24,000 BC to 13,000 BC Climatic desiccation of Australia, Sahara and other parts of the world, with water locked up in the ice of the Ice Age. Sea levels some 450 feet below current levels, but larger vertical crustal movements."

well, that's revealing...www.goldenageproject.org.uk/chro....html

"25,000 B.C.

The community of Dolni Vestonice near Brno, Czechoslovakia reveals use of fires, hearths and wickiup or wigwam type structures. Between Marseille and Cassis in the Calanque a sea cave preserved paintings of early sea life and animals from this period. Mal'ta west of Lake Baikel, Siberia sites are carbon dated to 12,800 B.C. but other scholars suspect the real age of the sites is 20,000 to 25,000 B.C. They are using points, needles and ivory bracelets. They made figurines of birds and women. Three women are wearing hooded garments like the Eskimo parkas. Their hut structures are similar to those found in Czechoslovakia and the Ukraine. A modern looking woman is cremated near Lake Mungo, Australia.

Archeological discovery of a txistu flute suggests the Basque culture existed at this time in their current territory of France/Spain/Portugal. The Basque are believed to represent the indigenous Peoples of Europe and their language is not related to any other language of the world.

It is believed the Negrito Peoples arrived the Philippines.

A new human type, not Mongoloid appeared in some caves as the Peking man, in Northern China. They may be allied to the Ainu people of Japan and Korea.

A people from the Caucasus Mountains, Russia share common DNA among the Ojibwa and Dakota Sioux in America. This suggests some of these Peoples migrated to America or the Ojibwa or Dakota Sioux migrated to Russia.

24,000 B.C.

It is believed that Neanderthal man is still using the caves in southern Spain at this time.

23,400 B.C.

Sumerian tradition suggests their kingship moved from Sippar to Shuruppak and one king clan reigned for the next 18,600 years "

yeah, great. everything's "maybe", "perhaps", "might", "it is believed" when it comes to history.

even the Ice Age is just a theory.

Well, anyway, back to the individual vs collective. Why are we moving backwards as a species?-astrologically speaking, at least-and I hope it stays that way.
I'd hate to think our successors will be looking like amoebas.

I think it's all a case of lost knowledge, and people becoming arrogant, and they think they can do anything bad and still go to heaven lol,
so I do wish we as a whole, as a human race, do strive to do better for ourselves and the world, cause otherwise we're responsible for our own demise...but I don't wanna sound negative when I say that lol I just wanna state that we all gotta play our part, to make the world a better place to live for the next generation even if our parents messed it up lol we're still responsible to take charge, and fix things before things get to a tipping point, and we're are all swimming,I live in L.A so that's mean for me if people don't change then, then the only dry land will be in the Hollywood hills lol,so I think we all need to do a little thinking and see whats the best options,to see the world a greener and more healthier place to live lol, yeah I know I sound like a tree hugger now but lol,but we all gotta do our part lol,and respect mother earth lol, that way we all can live happy lol
    =)
