Add your own reason's of why you think your single for.
I myself it's just cause I'm done with hoes,I unknowing went out with one,I totally regret it cause it just left me off worst. But you know sometimes, looks lie even if they look totally innocent lol,and the truth I need somebody that is a virgin cause I don't want somebodies else's baggage,at least that my reason.Plus I never play games I'm always up front with people,I guess people can't handle my blunt honesty lol,
but it's alright tho,I'm not worried... I'm a pretty self-assured dude lol, either when I'm around people or when I'm alone,I still love myself so
I don't care lol

Re: So Why? You Think Virgo's Are Single?
Sat, March 14, 2009 - 8:14 AMFor the perfectionists we Virgos claim to be, we sure do lie a lot. That is a big thing I've noticed.
Now we might do it because we think we are being thoughtful, to not get the guy/guy's feelings hurt or because we think that's what they want to hear but the basic reason is that Virgos have an underlying need to be 'needed'.
That is right, we want to help people out, show them how to do things, teach them, be a shoulder for them to lean on or whatever. Bottom line is we want people to want us.
This also makes us get involved with people who are 'needy' so to speak, people who may not be able to get things right on their own without our guiding hand and that sucks us in, we go ahead and have relationships with these people not considering that for someone like us who are meticulous, like things organized and everything to work a certain way, to get a relationship with a person who can't do any of that on their own means we are shooting ourselves in the leg because those same needy people that satisfy our lust to be 'needed' get on our nerves at the end of the day for needed help with everything or not doing things the way we want it.
To sum it all up, it takes an evolved very self aware Virgo to get out of this rut. Spend sometime thinking about what you like, how you like it and then think of all the people you have been with and what they liked and how they liked it.
Time to put those analysis skills to work. God knows we have enough of them to criticize everyone and everything within sight. -

Re: So Why? You Think Virgo's Are Single?
Sat, March 14, 2009 - 9:56 AMI was happy being single because I had been with men that thought they could bring their washing round and lay in my bed all day whilst I was at work, tell my kids what to do, and spill beer in my bed! not one of them respected my independance, and usually told me what furniture I should have bought, why I shouldn't be a veggi and numerous other faults I had....I then met a taurus man on line, who is a veggi, father, 'old punk' and has been on his own nearly as long as I have! At the age of forty six, I have finally met someone that treats me as an equal, (carries my shopping when he's here!) and pays his own wayTHERE IS SOMEONE FOR EVERYONE, USUALLY WHEN YOU ARE NOT EVEN LOOKING! -

Re: So Why? You Think Virgo's Are Single?
Sun, March 15, 2009 - 6:58 PMWell I know myself I do complicate things,it's just you know,I'm pretty passionate I know what I want lol but I guess,

Sun, March 15, 2009 - 8:43 PM"but you know they say a real woman doesn't say what she wants"
"What?? "
Well I figure some girls are like so that they wanna them keep the guy guessing lol -
-
Re: So Why? You Think Virgo's Are Single?
Sun, March 15, 2009 - 8:46 PMMyself I don't care really,but if a girl is gonna tell me,
then you better prove it lol -
-
Re: So Why? You Think Virgo's Are Single?
Sun, March 15, 2009 - 8:52 PMSo you think that a girl who keeps you guessing is a real woman?
And what does that make a girl who doesn't play that game? -
-
This is the maximum depth. Additional responses will not be threaded.
Re: So Why? You Think Virgo's Are Single?
Sun, March 15, 2009 - 9:25 PMHonesty I think both are sexy,
but best advice either be one extreme or the other lol,but if your gonna tell me then you better make sure I'm butt naked lol,
cause it's more spontaneous -
-
Re: So Why? You Think Virgo's Are Single?
Sun, March 15, 2009 - 9:38 PMBut I like having my feelings first before all that,I like a good challenge tho lol,I like girls to play games with me
before I'm intimate -
-
Re: So Why? You Think Virgo's Are Single?
Sun, March 15, 2009 - 9:42 PMBut I only play games with girl's if I was already in a relationship with them first,if a girl can make me feel young then I'm happy,
simple as that
-
Re: So Why? You Think Virgo's Are Single?
Sun, March 15, 2009 - 9:45 PMWait, which do you like to happen first - games? Then intimacy? Er what does "But I like having my feelings first before all that" mean?
Well, at least you know you like gameyness.
However, if a girl hooks you with games, then chances that she'll become genuine and trustworthy later on seem slim. Or perhaps it becomes revealed that there wasn't much substance there hiding behind the facade of "mystery." -
-

Sun, March 15, 2009 - 10:12 PM"Wait, which do you like to happen first - games? Then intimacy? Er what does "But I like having my feelings first before all that" mean?"
that mean's I need to warm up to you first lol
"Well, at least you know you like gameyness."
yep keeps me interested lol
"However, if a girl hooks you with games, then chances that she'll become genuine and trustworthy later on seem slim. Or perhaps it becomes revealed that there wasn't much substance there hiding behind the facade of "mystery."
What? you mean by that, well ok I'll try to solve this one lol..well ok what I think you mean to tell me is girl's that tease me are gonna
betray me huh is that true? why you think that? are girl's that devious to tease me and set me up? lol Why you think that Desiree?
-
-
Re: So Why? You Think Virgo's Are Single?
Sun, March 15, 2009 - 10:32 PMWell I like a little games and mystery once in awhile but then a little peace of mind always kept me around lol, cause I think us as Virgo's always want to feel needed. But if a girl can make me feel warm and let my inner child come out then I'm happy lol
foo show lol
-
Re: So Why? You Think Virgo's Are Single?
Sun, March 15, 2009 - 10:36 PMWhat I'm saying is that a relationship founded on games and mysteries and the idea that you can't be open and real with each other have a lot of uphill climbing to get to a place of trust. If a girl heads into a relationship with you based on the notion that the ONLY THING that's keeping you interested in her is the fact that she's not exposing her feelings or who she really is, well then.... how do you expect that to straighten out so smoothly later on after you're deeply involved? If a girl thinks that maintaining an image of mystery and coyness is what you're attracted to - and not who she actually is - then it's got to take a lot of work on both ends to rebuild the foundation once you venture into that realm of a serious relationship.
So no, I wasn't talking about betrayal. I was talking about two people trusting each other enough to open up. Trusting that one won't ditch the other the second a deep emotion gets expressed. -
-
Re: So Why? You Think Virgo's Are Single?
Sun, March 15, 2009 - 10:54 PMI never ditched a girl for her expressing her emotions,well I'm a affectionate Virgo,but yeah I understand,
mystery complicates things just like romance lol,but it'd be nice to know that more girls are open minded then I thought lol

Re: So Why? You Think Virgo's Are Single?
Mon, March 16, 2009 - 12:19 PMlots of Virgo-touched people stay single for long periods of time and virgins to a ripe old age, for the simple fact that they are uber-pretentious.
I know two Scorpio sun signs even-a girl who is a Virgo Rising and a boy who is a Virgo Moon who fit the description of "lone wolf".
I also know this Scorpio Rising, Leo Moon Virgo man who lost his virginity at the age of 28. lol. And he's handsome!
It's easy to see why, since Virgo precedes Libra, the sign of settling into a partnership-marriage-and is , thus, in charge with the "selection" process. So, many Virgos spend their entire lives never getting over the "selective" stage.
A famous example is Joan of Arc-symbol of "angry chastity" haha, who was a Leo Rising-thus, one would think, a red-blooded woman.
Or Elizabeth, "the virgin queen", also a Virgo Sun, who never married and ruled over England alone.
And a more modern world example is Greta Garbo-Virgo Sun, Taurus Moon, Gemini Rising who ended her life in solitude, never marrying. -

Re: So Why? You Think Virgo's Are Single?
Mon, March 16, 2009 - 2:00 PMThat's interesting to me, as I have always thought other things more of a prioroty.... I saw women who depended on their partners as a little weak. I couldn't understand why you would want to rely on someone else when I could take care of things my way! I have met someone I can trust, but worry that I will mess thimgs up by being too selfish......

Re: So Why? You Think Virgo's Are Single?
Mon, March 16, 2009 - 7:39 PMYeah actually myself I've been alone for a year cause I guess I'm just to dam picky lol, well it's just I don't think there a point of being with someone if you don't truly feel in love with them, cause I'm sure there a lot of couple out there who are with somebody they just settled for lol, cause sometimes you can be with someone and still not be happy cause there no true love connection there, that's why I'm just gonna try for myself at least, to follow my heart, but usually I can tell my looking at somebody eyes,if there right for me or not lol,
they call that the look of love... -
-
Re: So Why? You Think Virgo's Are Single?
Mon, March 16, 2009 - 8:09 PMYeah however sometimes it's just better to be alone tho lol relationship are are such stressful things.
For the same amount of pleasure you get, you get a equal amount of pain and that's way people go insane lol.
I don't know sometimes the only thing I want is just peace of mind with woman lol is that so hard to ask?
but believe me I had me share of drama tho,but it does get tiring, even for those with a Leo moon lol -
-
Re: So Why? You Think Virgo's Are Single?
Mon, March 16, 2009 - 8:14 PMBut nobody can worry me tho cause I will always stand up for myself no matter what, especially if somebody disrespect's me,
but you know lol sometimes I think I need anger management lol,but myself I only fight for a real reason tho,as long people are cool with me I don't intentionally mess with them lol -
-
Re: So Why? You Think Virgo's Are Single?
Wed, March 18, 2009 - 1:26 PMBut you know how most people be, most people are afraid to have a serious conversation,I myself I'm not much for lying lol.
If I have something to say then I'll say it I've learn it's better to speak your mind then be unreal with yourself lol.
My real problem tho is when it comes to girl's I have so many options, and on top of it I'm celibate, cause otherwise girl's will be getting jealous quickly lol yep sucks being a Virgo lol,but hopefully this one girl I've been after will come though soon, she a virgin btw.So I think I'll try my best to be faithful to her but you know I swear she play too many games make me feel like, maybe I should just have fun,but then I think to myself my soul will be gone lol serious lol,yep but hopefully she'll stop lagging it lol and show me that she's for real lol, cause you know I'm trying my best not to be a bad man lol..awww I swear that girl needs to loosen up lol for realz...lol well anyways peace pervs lol

Re: So Why? You Think Virgo's Are Single?
Fri, March 20, 2009 - 3:31 PMOoooh, I didn't know Joan of Arc was a virgo! But then again, she also died at 17, right? Girlfriend had an army to rule! No one worries about whether General George Patton or Napoleon got laid, Virgo or no, since their roles were as conquerers, not lovers. At least not their public personas.
As to Queen Elizabeth and Greta Garbo, I don't blame them. Rule autonomously (and take lesser men who don't threaten your power stance as lovers), keep your kingdom and send pirates to raid Spanish gold ships out at sea rather than marrying into the wealth but having to do things some domineering Spanish king's way; eschew the sexist expectations of the time and do things your own way. I find it hard to believe that Greta Garbo wouldn't have taken lovers over her lifetime but chosen to keep her hard earned wealth and the autonomy that went with it, thank you very much.
Mother Theresa was also a Virgo, but she was essentially "married to God", which could be considered spiritually bonded in one's heart while physically celebate.
Vesta, which is an asteroid in most people's charts, has been thought of as Virgo's true ruler by some astrologers. The archetype of the Vestal Virgins that served Vesta were not originally virginal in the celebate sense, but in the being "owned" by no man sense. They were originally temple prostitutes who acted as an earthly representation of the feminine divine, so that sex with a Vestal Virgin was a sacred act connecting spirit in matter.
I've also known Virgos who were virgins well into their 20s, simply because of not finding someone they connected with on a sexual level. I've also met plenty more Virgos in commited relationships or who tend to go from relationship to relationship but still do prefer being partnered.
I am curious, Chris and other single Virgos where your major planets are - sign and house. Do you have things in Libra, or the 5th, 7th or 8th houses? I have Mercury, which is my chart ruler (I'm Gemini rising) in Libra in the 5th house of sex and fun, along with Pluto, also in Libra. My moon in the 8th house. 7th house is partnerships, but 8 house is sex as well as marriage, along with the power struggles, control issues, merging of resources, and deeper connection that comes with partnering long term with another. I've been partnered or had multiple love interests on the line more often than I've been single and though I've consciously chosen to be single at certain points in my life, I prefer being partnered.

Re: So Why? You Think Virgo's Are Single?
Sun, March 22, 2009 - 10:30 PMI enjoy being partnered so i can take care of him in everyway possible. I also want to be taken care of the same way. I give 100% when it's real, worthy and leaves you craving more.

Re: So Why? You Think Virgo's Are Single?
Wed, March 18, 2009 - 5:33 PMI am single because:
a) I HATE HATE HATE playing the role of the socially accepted and gendered "girlfriend". It's the same shizzz every single time. So I'm gunna wait, because I don't want 2nd best of anything. I can do better on my own.
b) A boyfriend would just take up too much time, and I'm very busy right now with my studies. I'v erelaized my GPA is lowered when I have a boyfriend. SO CUT*
c) I am trying to find myself right now. The focus should be on myslef, and not someone elses needs. I need a better sense of who I am, so that when I do go prowling, I will find a better companion. Most guys I've dated have been so selfish, and patriarchist, and racist, anti- environmental and it really makes me sick. They wanted to eliminate me! And make me into this girlfriend "thing". And the scariest thing about this, is that most of them were in masters and doctoral programmes. I fear for our future.
d) Bottom line: I just wanna do my own thang, and not be bothered with the trivialities! -
-
Re: So Why? You Think Virgo's Are Single?
Wed, March 18, 2009 - 5:36 PMPS. and this is a bit hard for me - as my Sun is in the 7th house! -

"a) I HATE HATE HATE playing the role of the socially accepted and gendered "girlfriend". It's the same shizzz every single time. So I'm gunna wait, because I don't want 2nd best of anything. I can do better on my own."
I see well some dude's are kinda of insensitive, for me it's the opposite lol,but I have balance however I know when to be man and when to
be nice, lol but most girl's kinda of judge me wrong, cause they think I'm just one thing, but in reality I'm positive and negative combined into one being,so I guess girl's just think I'm crazy, but hey I've seen the whole picture lol
"b) A boyfriend would just take up too much time, and I'm very busy right now with my studies. I'v erelaized my GPA is lowered when I have a boyfriend. SO CUT*"
Lol well whatever works best for you,I myself have never been possessive with any of my girl friends lol,but then they get sad cause they wonder why I'm gone for so long lol, sometimes I love to just be alone, but hey every relationship has it's complications, myself I'm the type that when I do have a girl friend I like it intense lol I always make sure my girl feels full before I leave lol...so that when I do leave she feels satisfied lol,so that way I'm still missed lol
"c) I am trying to find myself right now. The focus should be on myslef, and not someone elses needs. I need a better sense of who I am, so that when I do go prowling, I will find a better companion. Sounds like they lack sensitivity, sounds like there arrogant rich boy's who never did anything for them self's and had there mother feed them with a silver spoon,I doubt they know how hard life really is,I doubt they never had a gun pulled on them on there chest or I bet they never spend a day in the hood lol,I myself I had shit like that happen to me lol,but that never changed me into to a bad person did it lol,so to me they sound like bitches with no heart lol
"d) Bottom line: I just wanna do my own thang, and not be bothered with the trivialities! "
True...but it's healthy to question society..cause society is wrong and artificial,I see life as this there is good and evil in this world,
the reason why society is failing is because nobody is stand up to there principles, and people think it's cool to be evil nowadays that is why god is punishing them to bring them low to realize what there doing is wrong lol you know
"PS. and this is a bit hard for me - as my Sun is in the 7th house! "
Yeah I understand...well don't give up tho I'm sure there's still good guys out there for you...just remember never rush into things with any guy cause then they'll take advantage of you...just learn to relax a little bit and go for the guy that want's to thrill you before he want to chill with you lol, then I'm sure you can't go wrong lol

Re: So Why? You Think Virgo's Are Single?
Mon, October 5, 2009 - 8:41 PMI can tell you the reasons I was single.....no matter who I was seeing.
They weren't up to the pressure.
Couldn't handle the heat.
Didn't know who they were or who I was.
Looking for someone to beat.
It's one of those things where it's about choice.
Do you settle?
Or do you just wait and see?
Don't get me wrong, I think baggage and blunt treatment can be a part of it. It's a couple of hoops, if they can't take it, can't take me. I don't want a "virgin" - sorry, but that is just some silliness to me. That doesn't tell me anything about who someone is - and if you aren't then you are a total hypocrite - point blank and dead straight.
I think you get what you need when you get it - positive or negative. It's a growth thing. And if being a "virgin" at 18 is that important - zip up your own pants.....afterall that's where you actually control what happens.
virgo asc, virgo ris. - curious to see the full chart chris -

Re: So Why? You Think Virgo's Are Single?
Tue, October 6, 2009 - 2:21 PMThey weren't up to the pressure.
Couldn't handle the heat.
Didn't know who they were or who I was.
Looking for someone to beat.
It's one of those things where it's about choice.
All of those in my case, without a doubt.
Then at the age of 46 when I least expected it , I met someone on an internet social site, that accepted me for who I was. Didn't mind my 'baggage' (because he was mature enough to realise he had 'baggage' too) ....Virgin?! don't make me laugh!! sorry but that's just a fantasy for most guys who don't practise what they preach! If you are both setting off on that road then fair enough! but seriously ....unless you are prepared to live your life and accept that women can lead theirs , baggage and all, you must be willing to accept things as they are.I had given up, and was prepared to live with my honesty.Lucky for me it paid off :) -

Re: So Why? You Think Virgo's Are Single?
Tue, November 3, 2009 - 1:01 PMLove that it's a Taurus too. My fiance is and probably never dated a Taurus before. Definitely makes a difference when all are meeting (that not looking thing is right on). There was some silliness about a virgin in one of the threads and it made me giggle so much I had to toss it in there :-)
