Insane, really.
Losing my mind.
Y'all are quite easy to become obsessed about.
You see
he is my muse.
He has insinuated himself so securely into my brain that it is painful to think of a world without him.
And yet
impossible to be with him for practical reasons.
Please help me with my addiction...

Re: Aquarius in love with a Virgo
Thu, January 24, 2008 - 7:59 AMAlrighty: The practical reasons:
Hold your chairs...
V (for my Virgo) was invited to become a part of my married world by my husband (whom I adore and love adventuring the planet with).
Physical connections ensued, and was incredible, but due to one late testing result, discovery of a painful, though not lethal, biohazard on V that I do not wish to share turned up, nixing the sex, but possible for other physical intimacy. Torture enough.
V is a gypsy whose primary residence is 240 miles away, though he runs to me every time summoned. My husband is content to only have V near me on a monthly/biweekly basis.
V is a very social animal and requires a lot of attention.
...sigh
Thank you, all of you, you are helping.

Re: Aquarius in love with a Virgo
Wed, January 23, 2008 - 4:14 PMWhat's the rest of your astrology, Claire? Ascendant/rising, moon, mars, venus, mercury?
I had a Libra friend once tell me that she dated a Virgo for a while and decided to dump him because he was so good at taking care of her ever need that she could easily see forgetting how to take care of herself if she continued the relationship. We make ourselves damn useful if our way of doing things doesn't bug the crap out of you.
I tend to see relationships through the filter of - why is this person in my life, what is the lesson I am learning from being in this relationship? Some relationships, perhaps this one(?) may be teaching you about what you crave in a relationship via the interaction you've gotten with this Virgo man. Other relationships simply support and encourage our best selves in a gentle way, while others challenge us in a confrontational way.
Generally, Virgo challenges Aquarius to take care of themselves and revel in the physicality of being - quality sex, healthy food, stopping to smell the flowers, massage, supportive and organized home environment, nice clothing, etc. Aquarius usually pushes us to see the big picture and think bigger than just routine wake, wash, eat, work, eat, personal time, sleep, repeat, no matter how sensual and enjoyable (or not) that cycle may be. -

Re: Aquarius in love with a Virgo
Thu, January 24, 2008 - 8:15 AMI'm afraid I do not know the rest of my astrology. Point me in the right direction so I may come back and answer your question properly.
As for the remainder of your response: OMG You just nailed the whole entire relation on the head. Including the annoying part. But mostly, the craving.
V is boisterous and has no boundaries, is open and honest, and expects the same of you (that does bug me a bit). I am a bit more guarded but cannot turn away from this shining creature. He has made crazy suggestions, to the untrained eye, about how to "take care" of us: monetarily (!), dietary, physical training, home maintenance, the entire family running away in an RV...you name it. All are seductive, and very different mindset from where we are. Very tempting, but very impractical at the same time. Wendy, you totally ran down the list of how helpful and intimate V is. Very different from the absolute helpfulness and intimacy of my husband.
I am certain that it is our polar differences that attracts.
V appeals to my creative nature, offering himself up as a handiman on my large projects (performance art), offering not to spearhead or dominate my projects, but to run in tandem. -

Thu, January 24, 2008 - 8:35 AMO and I have tried to extricate myself from this, for all our sakes. November and December, complete cut-off.
However, this only resulted in increasing the suffering for all parties.
Now trying to come at it with new perspective.
This is unlike any other relationship I have ever found myself in.
All consuming.
Potent.
As addictive as air.

Re: Aquarius in love with a Virgo
Thu, January 24, 2008 - 6:52 PMClaire,
You can get a free chart on astro.com, by entering your birthday, time, and location. It will give you all the info I asked about. If you're having trouble reading it, you can post it to your pictures and me or others on this tribe can peek at it and report back. :)
V certainly sounds seductively charming in his own way. And fun!
Is the reason you want help is in figuring out how to distance yourself?
I personally think it's lovely that you can have the deep stable intimacy of your husband and the fresh wild creativity inspiring energy of V, and in an open way between all 3 of you. -

Re: Aquarius in love with a Virgo
Sat, January 26, 2008 - 4:45 AMThank you, Wendy! Now the proud owner of new information about myself: So: Sun sign: Aquarius, Ascendant: Pisces, moon: Capricorn, mars: Aries, venus: Aquarius, mercury: Capricorn.
V is THE most charming. I don't "fall" on sight. However, in V's case, I seem to have made an exception. He is a treasure: sexy, entertaining, emotional, a beautiful physical specimen. On our first encounter, I turned to a friend of mine, who has known V for years, and asked "Is he really this splendid all the time?". Her reply, "Always". I was hooked.
I guess what I am really asking of you Virgos is how best to honor you as lifelong friends.
What do Virgos need in foundational friends?
Can you be friends with lovers?
How best to be respectful of your personal needs?
The dynamic has been extremely challenging to keep all of us happy. I couldn't have chosen a better life adventure partner than my husband and he surprises me all the time with the insight he shows in caring for me. He is a magnificent specimen in his own right. The communication has been a very interesting voyage and obviously the key to entertaining this sort of adventure. -

Re: Aquarius in love with a Virgo
Wed, January 30, 2008 - 10:51 PMClaire,
I'm sure you could read up on all the different Virgos and their individual needs as friends and lovers. Or you could look at V's astrology specifically. Or ask him specifically. If he has some of the better qualities of virgo (which it sounds like he does) then clear communication of thoughts and feelings in a loving way tops the list.
As far as synastry goes (the astrology of relationships), your 7th house is in Virgo, meaning that V's sun very likely falls into that place in your chart that activates your desire to connect, to form a relationship or partnership. Your moon and mars form a nice trine with his sun, meaning there is an unhindered and positive flow between the way he expresses himself (sun) and your emotional needs (moon) and your way of expressing your thoughts and ideas (mercury). That also means he fits comfortably with you in the realm of who you need in your life as a friend (your moon in is in the 11th house of friends and associates).
If you know his birth information, you can also look to see if he has planet in Cancer, which would fall in your 5th house of fun and romance. Whenever I've felt magnetically drawn, almost to the point of obsession with someone, one or more of their planets fell in my 5th house. You could also look for planets that are in the opposite sign as yours, such as Mars (opposite of Aries is Libra) or complementary signs (in Leo or Sagittarius).
I do think Virgos can be friends with their lovers (and with their lover's lovers)

Re: Aquarius in love with a Virgo
Tue, January 29, 2008 - 5:11 PMI've heard that opposites atrackt especially when comparing astrological charts. Do you have any planets in Pisces? Or do any of your planets fall in his 7th house?(vice versa?) This could indicate a sure attraction between the two of you. Also, if your Venus makes a contact to his Mars or Vice Versa. If any of your planets fall in his 5th house.
I have to say that I fall hopelessly in love with Virgos too. This is a pattern that I have observed about myself but usually after I attain my beloved Virgo's chart I find that it is more than just being a Virgo that attracts me to them. -

Re: Aquarius in love with a Virgo
Wed, January 30, 2008 - 5:57 AMI had a few intimate relationships in a row, which were with Aquarian women. Aquarius, in general, for me, has been a sign where problems always stem from misunderstanding, and taking a wait and see attitude usually lightens up both sides of the perspective...

Re: Aquarius in love with a Virgo
Mon, July 28, 2008 - 6:26 PMHello,
I'm an Aquarius Sun with Taurus rising and Sagittarius moon.
I've always been enchanted with Virgo women, regardless of how I feel about their insane ways. As I have stated when I first came around, they are cool on the outside, but they are pretty hot to the touch...
The thing about Virgo women, from my brief exposure to them, is that they are interested in being in service, but try to serve them, lol, next to impossible. I can understand about how easy it is to fall for a Virgo, because they simply love to take care of people. How do I know so much about Virgos? LOL! My brother is one! lol!
There has been one Virgo woman that I've slept with, and she can all night long, and she's a quick study when it comes to oral sex.
But when morning comes, don't try to make her stay in bed with you, when the kids need her, or things need to get done around the house, forget it! LOL! That's just my experience, with the feminine side of the Virgo.
Now the masculine side, hmmmm, I don't know. I'm friends with one and everytime I call him, I usually invite him out to share a meal and have a conversation, but when it comes down to paying for the meal, riiiggghttt! He just pulls out his credit card and pays for both of our meals, and it irritates the hell out of me, lol!
So, I know how easy it is to get attached to someone that is always willing to pay for, and to control a sitation.
Sometimes you have to politely tell him, "Stop smothering me, but I love you for it". And then excuse yourself and continue on with taking care of yourself.
: )

Re: Aquarius in love with a Virgo
Tue, September 2, 2008 - 9:54 AMI'm a Virgo Sun, Leo moon, with an Aquarius ascendant. I'm dating an Aquarius, who's also dating another Virgo. We are having the time of our lives, and laughing all along the way.
Things are going strong after 5 months, and I hope to make it this silly and awesome for a long time to come.
Just sharing the happy.
Also, for my birthday on the 13th, I'm hosting a dinner party in SF on Friday, hang gliding on Sat, and spelunking on Sunday. Smoking hookah at the end of it all.
