i had a brief blip with a sag and initially it was perfect because we were both noncommittal
but when i was floating away due to general non-clicking
he continued to contact me (and still sends the occasional email) in a dreamy affectionate tone even though i know (and his intentions were not) motivated by wanting to continue anything. i feel like he likes to keep the line open between us even though i feel like its mutual that we're not into pursuing anything with each other.

i have heard a lot of peeps say that sag men are so dreamy adoring of their women..past and present.
for me that is annoying.
but hey, i'm a virgo.
i give that affection and dreamy state only when i mean it to go somewhere.

I am wondering if there are some greater things at work shared between Virgos and Saggs -

I myself am a Sag on the mundane astrological chart and have many Virgo friends that I get along with great. I've been in a relationship w/ a Virgo before and I will tell you from my perspective what were points of improvement for both of us:

Not all Virgos are the same, I am presenting this example from one person (my disclaimer is - this doesn't apply to everyone and is not a blanket statement )

* Communication -

(are you introverted or extroverted, do you communicate openly or only about serious matters) - Do you appreciate communicate on an abstract level as well as a finite leel

* Delivery (of communication) -

do you point out the things which you perceive / judge analyze and deliver them in a critical manner when you are not happy with the other person?)

* Presence - What are you and your partners's values on presence in a relationship (do you enjoy spending a lot of time or only some time with your partner?)

* Physical Affection & Attraction - do you enjoy being affectionate with your partner? Do you withhold affection / displays of affection at times depending on your mood / thought process / feelings?

* Thinking Processes:

Though both are intellectual signs but the way their minds work can clash with each other. Sagittarius can represent in the astrological chart a mind that is expansive and extravagant, while Virgo in the astrological chart may prefer and represent a simple, ordered, and unpretentious life.

Commitment: Are you both expecting the same thing from your partnership? To be clear on this and communicate it openly (without judgement) and truly listening to one another is key.

FOR THE RECORD - NOT ALL SAGITTARIUSES ARE NON COMMITTAL (I am an example) :)

* Approach to life: Are you reserved, serious and practical ? (There can be points here left unexpressed between Virgos and Sags when there is an internal dialogue and no external dialogues expressed in communication)

As far as overcrowding is concerned: I find it interesting that usually it is the Virgo stating they need space. From what I've read - usually it appears the other way around.

One thing I've noticed is there are times when I am interested in communicating on a deep level (feelings / thoughts / spirit / nature of the mind & and reflection with others) -there are many times in communication where I don't get the opportunity to express that depth in conversation because of a Virgo "mood' that leads to the Virgo friend in said example stating, "I am done with this conversation) - effectively with-holding off the conversation, delaying it, and in the end it was never expressed because the conversation had not continued to date.

I notice too that my Virgo friends at times can tend to be hypercritical, as well as judgmental - but hey - so can everyone else be. :)
(I have a pretty strong analytical / logical / rational mind that is balanced with the other side of the brain, heart & soul)

At any rate, my post here is to find a greating understanding because I am resolution oriented - my intent and wish is to enlighten myself through communicating with others so I can better understand and support my Virgoan friends. Much love

I am a Virgo married to a Sagg. We've been together for 21 yrs. We are best friends....we do not fight and are very good at giving one another "space". I knew he was into me the day we met...but not by romantic talk or mushiness. It was simply by the amount of time we enjoyed being together - which was a lot. Sometimes starting out as friends is the best way.

I dated a sagg for a couple of months. I smothered her a little too much and she ignored me a little too much. We are still friends though. I do love having sagg friends. My moon, jupiter, uranus and neptune are all in Sagittarius, but I don't really ever see myself dating one again anytime soon. (not saying that is could not work, it just didn't work for us)
